Basically like Popeyes Louisiana Tenders but instead of being cut into strips, a whole chicken breast cut into only partially into strips and left intact at the base so that you can rip them off.
Rip'n Chick'n is marinated with a blend of cayenne, habaƱero, white and black peppers, and then is hand battered, breaded, and cooked up in Popeyes signature crispy batter.
It's available through August 28th with Cajun fries, a buttermilk biscuit and a side of buttermilk Ranch dipping sauce for $3.99 (price and participation may vary).
Nutritional info not available.
"If you like string cheese, andPopeyes is betting that you do, you'll probably take a liking to Popeyes' new, limited-timeRip'n Chick'n (i.e Ripping Chicken)."
ReplyDeleteummm that doesn't make any sense. chicken looks good though
It's a bit of a stretch, but I believe the idea is that pulling the chicken into thin pieces is like eating string cheese.
ReplyDeletei can go the same place with it, but that doesn't change the fact that it doesn't actually make any sense. unless this article is meant for the chicken factory worker who has the job to rip the chicken into pieces
ReplyDeleteMade sense to me. The correlation is obvious.
ReplyDeleteSorry, but it looks like a fried HUMAN HAND to me- not string cheese. It's gross.
ReplyDeleteQwerty -- that's what I thought! Looks like a fried hand. Gross!
