Review: Jack in the Box - Mini Cookies

Jack in the Box's Mini Cookies are a recent addition to their dessert menu.

They come in a set of five for $1 and feature bite-sized chocolate chip cookies with mini M&M-type candies baked in.

My cookies came to me nice and warm, I'm not sure if this is by design or if I just happened to order mines as a fresh batch was done.
The cookies themselves are pretty standard with a normal amount of chocolate chips and candy. What made them really nice that they had that freshly baked (or heated) warmed that melts the chocolate just a bit and softens the cookie giving a little bit of that melt-in-your-mouth texture.

They taste like something you might make at home which isn't a bad thing at all. Also the size makes them good for sharing.

  1. If economic conditions continue to deteriorate those 20-cents per cookie, since there are five per order, may become a full meal for a family... just ensure you whelp no more than three vile spawn.

Have but one brat and Ma and Pa can have two cookies each.

One plus for those forced to seek vittles from dumpsters is the much reduced risk of food poisoning from a food that does not require refrigeration to remain safe before the trash hauler carts off the dumpster contents.

Of course, as with all dumpster dining, take care the food grabbed has not made contact with anything hazardous.

    Bon apetit'

  2. They taste like microwaved Chips Ahoy. I would never consider them to taste home baked in a million years.

  4. I guess I am now officially low-class... but microwaved Chips Ahoy cookies don't sound bad at all. Especially if they're 5 for a dollar and I don't even have to microwave them myself. Just one dude's humble opinion of course :)
