News: Subway - New Sunrise Subway Melt

It's promoted in pictures with flatbread, but you, as always, you also have your choice of bread.

Nutritional info after the jump.

Review: Subway - Turkey Jalapeno Melt
I tried Subway's new Turkey Jalapeno Melt to see if it would "burn the wimp right outta [me]" like Subway suggests. The Turkey Jalapeno Melt is just a variant of the Turkey sub, except you don't have to mull about whether you want jalapenos on your sub. My "sandwich artist" still asked me what cheese I wanted and what sauce (The right answer to make a proper Turkey Jalapeno is the "shredded Monterey Cheddar blend" and the "chipotle southwest sauce.") The price for a footlong is an even $6 plus tax.

Review: Subway - Chipotle Chicken and Cheese Melt
Subway's new Chipotle Chicken and Cheese Melt is part of their current "Amazin' Melts" sandwich push. The main ingredients of the sandwich are your choice of bread, cheese, veggies, strips of grilled chicken, and Subway's Chipotle southwest sauce.
It normally costs $6 for a footlong and $4 for a 6-inch but Subway has a promotion where you can get any regular footlong (which is anything but the "premium" sandwiches) for $5 after 4pm (all day on Sundays) as long as you buy two or more so I ended getting one of these and a Subway Club for The Sister (she wanted a Cold Cut Trio but I upsold her!).

Subway's goes a little bit into Taco Bell territory with the launch of the new, limited-time Fritos Chicken Enchilada Melt.
The base ingredients for the sub are pulled chicken in enchilada sauce and Fritos corn chips. Beyond that, it's your typical choice of bread, cheese, veggies, and condiments.

Subway's new, limited-time Tuscan Chicken Melt is a "$6 Footlong Special" they're offering this month in addition to their Featured $5 Footlong. It features strips of chicken breast tossed in a zesty herb seasoning, served with your choice of melted cheese, veggies, and bread and finished with a balsamic vinaigrette.
