It's almost like everything on McDonald's breakfast menu thrown into a styrofoam tray... it's McDonald's Deluxe Breakfast!
For about $3.50 (varies by location), you get a styrofoam tray filled with an English muffin (biscuit in some regions), a strip of bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, two hotcakes, and hash browns.
For the price, it's fair rendition of the traditional American breakfast and feeds the belly well. While you could make something better at home, one of the critical selling points of fast food is that you don't have to make it, thus saving you the trouble of potentially burning down your kitchen.
So when can't or don't feel like frying up your own bacon and eggs, McDonald's got you covered with a reasonable facsmile in their Deluxe Breakfast.

i remember eating that looooooooooooong ago
ReplyDeleteHaven't had this for at least an year now! Somehow I always like the eggs served in these plates compared to the other eggs in the biscuits and mcmuffins they sell.
ReplyDeletethat looks really disgusting!
ReplyDeleteIt tastes fine though and you don't have to cook or figure out what to do with the rest of the pound of bacon that you bought!
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for most of you people who can't get the steak, egg, and cheese bagel at Mcdonalds. The best breakfast item on earth! imho
ReplyDeleteI LOVED the steak egg & cheese bagels! You can't get them in the midwest anymore, but the tri-state area still has them!
ReplyDeleteAnd as far as the deluxe breakfast goes - it's the best hangover food possible. It's got the carbs, slight amount of protein and fat and sugar to settle your stomach enough to straighen out your day. bars close at 4, get one of these before you go home and you're set to go!
i tried this the other day and i gotta to say it was out of my buttery world!!! i love the pancakes it was soft and smooth just how i like my pancakes and the biscuit way better then McD's the sausage was good like the pice it swirled my mouth and the egg i gottasay they tasted good for my taste buds plus the tatter tots i would give a plus plus from 1 to 10 what would it be drum roll please!......... and the lucky number is 10 your welcome
ReplyDeleteLove the buttermilk light fluffy pancakes but sometimes they are so cheap with the bacon that they cut it in half and just give you half a slice. How about that for cheap bastards at McDonald's.
