It's a Whopper but smaller! Actually, I prefer Burger King's Whopper Jr. to the regular Whopper. The smaller size makes me feel like less of a glutton. Also, unlike the Whopper, which is somewhat wide and flat, the Whopper Jr. doesn't flop under its own weight and feels more solid. Plus it checks in at a nice and easy 99 cents.
The patty is a decent size and will sometimes have a nice char (you think fast food from a chain would be more consistent). The lettuce and tomato aren't always of good quality (read: soggy).
Besides lettuce and tomatoes, the Whopper Jr. has the normal Whopper blend of mayo and ketchup as well as a couple of pickles. It's not great but its decent when you have some change lying around and feel like some BK. How come there's a Whopper Jr. but no Mini-Mac?
