To round out Popeyes' "Big Deal" Value Menu (along with the Delta Mini and the Chicken Biscuit), there's the Loaded Chicken Wrap. It's basically a crispy-fried chicken strip with the chain's red beans and rice, wrapped in a tortilla. You can squeeze in some hot sauce if you like, just ask them for it.It's priced at $1.49 which puts it in the low range of the $1.50 to $1.90 price range that fast food snack wraps seem to fall in.
The tortilla is supposed to be a cheddar tortilla but I didn't taste any cheese flavor with it... maybe the flavor's a little too subtle? I still like the wrap though, it's pretty good. The red beans and rice give it a nice flavor and contrasts nicely with the crunchy strip. Plus it puts a Popeyes twist on the standard wrap that every fast food restaurant seems to be serving.
