Not as catchy as Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day, Baskin Robbins 31 Cent Scoop Night is for a good cause: fire fighters!
When: Wednesday, April 28, 2010, 5 pm to 10 pm
Where: Participating Baskin Robbins nationwide. Baskin Robbins Store Locator
Why?: Because fire fighters stop you and your house from burning! And rescue kitties from trees!
It's not free but on the plus side, you should be able to order as many scoops as you like at 31 cents a pop without getting in line again.
Of course, they are conveniently announcing 31 Cent Scoop Night on rival Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day but that's what's gamesmanship is all about.

Firemen don't rescue kitties from trees. If you call to ask they will tell you to call a tree company, like the people that cut down trees.
ReplyDelete@Anon: Haha, I like how you know that. They used to in the cartoons!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby's a fireman and his dept always asks the caller (though they hardly ever get a call like that) if they've ever seen a cat skeleton in a tree? Cuz if not, then one way or another, that cat will figure a way down :)
ReplyDelete@Anon: Haha! That's true... then again... I've never seen a skeleton of anything up in a tree... maybe I need to look up more.
ReplyDeleteI hunt Tree Kittens with my trained Spotted Owls ... mmm kittens! While eating Ben & Jerry's ice cream!
ReplyDelete@Anon: O_o
