Review: Taco Bell - Cheesy Nachos

Taco Bell Cheesy Nachos
One of two new additions to Taco Bell's "Why Pay More" value menu, Cheesy Nachos did not require much (if any) wracking of the culinary minds at Taco Bell in name or substance. In fact, it is only new in that it comes in a different container than Taco Bell's plain Nachos. With Cheesy Nachos, the nacho cheese is just put on top of the tortilla chips instead of on the side.

At $0.79, however, it's quite cheap (Though, if I remember correctly, the same price as Taco Bell's plain Nachos as well).

Cheesy Nachos are your typical nachos uncomplicated by anything really. The type of nachos you'd get a your school's food fairs as a kid. It's just chips and melted nacho cheese with no surprises.

The nacho cheese has a mild cheddar base with the barest hint of jalapeno spice that I've, quite frankly, never noticed before. These are great for a simple snack when you just want chips and cheese on the cheap, though they're maybe the most uninspired offering at Taco Bell.
