A variant to Chick-fil-A's regular Spicy Chicken Sandwich made by yours truly, the
Chick-fil-A Fire Red Chicken Sandwich is simple awesomeness, but just a wee bit on the messy side.
Chick-fil-A makes some really good Buffalo sauce, a truly marvelous blend of sour and spicy in a lovely shade of Buffalo red. If I were frying up some Buffalo wings, I would definitely toss them in Chick-fil-A's Buffalo sauce if I ever had enough sauce.
As you can see here, a Fire Red Chicken Sandwich is a Spicy Chicken Sandwich covered on top with their Buffalo Sauce to make a giant boneless Buffalo "wing" on a bun. I took the pickles out because I don't think it goes as well with spicy and the sauce already has a bit of tart sourness to it. The patty remained nice and crunchy and the Buffalo sauce added a deceptively lasting heat to the sandwich; it didn't seem that spicy initially, but then it hits you and leaves a slow burn.
To make a hotter variant of my variant, I suggest adding hot sauce to the mix (also available at Chick-fil-A, from here on forever known as "The King of Condiments").
