Burger King's Tacos seem to be an "at-participating-locations-only" item and doesn't appear on the Burger King website. At
two for $1.49, they're 50 cents more than Jack in the Box's Taco for basically the same item.
Like Jack in the Box, Burger King seems to deep-fry a taco shell filled with seasoned beef and then tops it off with lettuce, a slice of American cheese, and taco sauce.
The shell is usually very oily from being deep fried and the beef is mushy and almost paste-like, but for some reason, I still like eating it. I think the beef might be from a Burger King hamburger patty but, I'm really not sure. As far as fast food quality goes, this has got to be the bottom rung but, I guess I just like the taste?
The Sister-in-law thinks theses are totally disgusting and the yellow lettuce doesn't help the case any. The Sister, on the other hand, likes these. I'm thinking this is just one of those polarizing items where you either hate it or love it.
