Louisiana Tenders are covered in a very crispy batter with lots of texture (i.e. nooks and crannies) somewhat akin to
KFC's Extra Crispy Strips but times two in the crispy department.
The strips I got were a little bit on the thin side, and were a little on the dry side because of it, but your mileage will vary. They were surprisingly not very greasy, especially for deep-fried chicken. The flavor is mostly salt followed by spicy heat. Simple but good and perfect for dipping.
