The Subway Club sandwich features slices of turkey breast, roast beef, and Black Forest ham as a base with your choice of vegetables, condiments, and bread. It's falls into Subways Select Sub and goes for about $6.75 in my neighborhood.
Depending on how you build it and if you eat a 6-inch or a Footlong in one sitting, it is one of Subway's Fresh Fit subs with under 6 grams of fat.
The Subway Club is a nice blend of meats and you get plenty of. Subway has come a long way on the quality of their deli meats since 10 years ago when it felt like they were using the same cheap stuff you used to make sandwiches at home. I could taste the distinct, different flavor of the three meats and they go well together.
As always with Subway, veggies, cheese, and condiments will vary from person to person. I usually go try and make mind look like the picture on the menu because I'm impressionable like that.
I would point out, for the healthy set, that while the somewhat erroneously named Subway Club (I guess it's a Subway "club" in that it has three layers of meat but so does quite a few of their sandwiches) contains less than 6 grams of fat, it, like a lot of deli meat sandwiches, contains over 1000mg of sodium, which is actually more than a lot of fast food burgers.

The Club is an original Subway sub. The Black Forest Ham is really the same processed, rectangular ham that you can buy at the supermarket deli, or prepackaged. It's a good sandwich, especially with cheese, and everything else.
ReplyDeleteSounds really good and packed with avacado I think I'd get one right now hmm
