Taco Bell's latest limited-time item is the new Quad Steak Burrito which features a quadruple portion (compared to a Steak Burrito Supreme) of their new thick and tender steak, wrapped in a flour tortilla along with seasoned rice, salsa, reduced-fat sour cream and Cheddar cheese.
It's $4.99 per burrito. There's also a Quad Quesadilla available for the same price if that's more your style. If a quadruple serving too much, a double serving is also available in the Double Steak Burrito (or Quesadilla) for a buck less at $3.99. Price and participation may vary.
The new steak is made from USDA Select beef.
I figure their new thick and tender steak has to be better than the previous sometimes rubbery and chewy steak.

I'm sure it tasty (in comparison to other Taco Bell menu items) but I can't envision myself paying $5 for ANY fast food item!
ReplyDeleteSpecifically in relation to the "Burrito Industry" because I can pay a couple dollars more for the next tier of quality (i.e. QDoba, Chipotle, Baja Fresh, etc...)
When I can pay a couple extra bucks for a burrito that is substantially and of significantly higher quality OR an entire Pizza, it seems hard to justify springing $5 for a single burrito. (Not to mention they have $5 boxes which would give you considerably more bang for your buck at the exact same location.)
tastes like pot roast.
