Review: Doritos - Pizza Supreme

A new, limited-time flavor, Doritos Pizza Supreme arrives at the tail end of football season and is purported to taste like a supreme pizza which I take to mean a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, onions, olives, mushrooms, and bell peppers.

They're not available in every market but I scored this 99 cent bag at my local 7-Eleven.

The chips look much like a Doritos Cool Ranch chip except darker and moving closer to orange than yellow.
So the big question: Does it taste like a supreme pizza? I'd have to give that one a qualified "yes." While it's never going to satiate your craving for a supreme pizza, it does taste reminiscent of a supreme pizza. Obviously, it's dry, crunchy, and the texture is completely different, but it does bring a supreme pizza to mind.
I enjoyed Doritos Pizza Supreme chips but the Sister did not. No particular reason, she just didn't like the taste. It reminded me of Keebler's discontinued Pizzarias but with more different flavors.

Ingredients include four different cheese: Cheddar, Jack, Parmesan, and Swiss. There's also tomato powder, onion powder, garlic powder and butter which, as you well know, makes everything better.
