Unlike previous giveaways where you could just print out a coupon from the Taco Bell website, to take advantage of this offer, you actually have to be or become a fan of Taco Bell on Facebook by "Liking" them. Yes, this also means you have to actually have a Facebook account.
The giveaway is part of a larger effort by Taco Bell to combat the negative perception and press given by the class action beef lawsuit filed against the company claiming that the company's seasoned beef is not really "beef." Taco Bell has been vehemently combating that perception with a nationwide advertising campaign refuting the claims and revealing the ingredients in its seasoned beef and the explaining the reason for each ingredients use.
