News: Popeyes - New Garlic Butter Shrimp

While Popeyes usually serves up some shrimp this time of year, they're throwing a little wrench in their normal equation with new, limited-time Garlic Butter Shrimp which is essentially their normal deep-fried, popcorn shrimp tossed in garlic butter and served with Cajun fries and a biscuit for $3.99.

    Sigh......... another joint with the ONE biscuit per consumer/customer/chow chomper.

    What IS IT with this one biscuit mind-set?

    Arrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Time to break out of the mound.

    Hmmmmm.

    Maybe "mold" isn't the best word to use whin writing about edibles.

    I propose a new chain of fast-food outlets be created.

    And boast proudly that "We give you TWO biscuits because we ain't cheapskates!!!!!!!!!!!"

    Lol I used to be a multi biscuit guy. Then I (unfortunately?) saw the ridiculous amount of saturated fat in them. It is, after all, just a biscuit. But hey, maybe you can start the Carl's Jr's of chicken and biscuits where excess is the mindset. :)
