Review: Fatburger - Chili Cheese Fat Fries

Besides Onion Rings and Fries, Fatburger also serves up Chili Cheese Fat Fries (Skinny Fries also available). Following the simple recipe of cheese, meat, and potatoes, the resultant dish will run you $4.79.

Fatburger has a meaty, thick chili with a nice consistency. It has a little bit of a sweetness to it but could use some more tomatoes and seasoning. It lacked "oomph."

I actually wanted the Skinny Fries but I guess the cashier misheard me. The Fat Fries are a bit too much potato flavor for the cheese and chili. I think Skinny Fries would have brought the ingredients into better proportion. For the money, it's not a very good value, the fries are about the same size as a typical serving except with chili and cheese. They were just okay for me.

At the end of the day, I much prefer the Chili Cheese Fries at the Hat; you get a lot more food for the money, I like the chili better, and there's plenty of melted cheesy goodness. I would definitely get Fatburger's delectable Onion Rings over this one.
