Review: Jack in the Box - Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger

When I typically think of a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, I typically think of Wendy's value-menu burger but Jack in the Box also serves a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. With the same name no less. It's a different burger though with bacon, American cheese, mayo-onion sauce, and ketchup.

Jack's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger is also a value-menu item with a neat price tag of $1.

Jack's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger is a bit more standard than the Wendy's version. It tastes very familiar but with bacon and that's not a bad thing at all. In addition to the typical flavors of beef, bun, cheese, ketchup and mayo, there's a reasonable amount of bacon flavor that's very nice.
It might be a little light for some but it is a junior-sized burger i.e. child's size.
Overall, a respectable choice for bacon burger eating on a budget at any hour.

  1. Not a really bad option for a $1. But I don't like how regular beef burgers taste at Jack in the Box (I haven't tried the sirloin ones). There's something weird about the taste of the beef I can't quite describe.

I rather go with the Chicken Sandwich for a $1 and I ask to add tomato (it's free).
