Review: Magnum - Double Caramel Ice Cream Bar

New Magnum Double Caramel ice cream bars come in a box of three and feature vanilla ice cream dipped in a chocolatey coating, then a caramel sauce, and finally Belgium milk chocolate.

The retail price for a box is about $3.99 but I've seen them on sale in the $2.00 to $3.00 range.

The two words I would use to describe the Magnum Double Caramel are "rich" and "sweet." All the flavors from the vanilla to the caramel to the chocolate are quite rich and the combination of chocolate and caramel (especially the caramel) make the whole affair really sweet.

The caramel comes in a golden liquid layer of sweetness similar to a Caramello bar; it can be a little messy if it drips. It's kind of like a higher quality chocolate candy bar wrapped around vanilla ice cream. I think I'd rather have these as a snack-sized ice cream bar as a couple bites are more than enough dessert for me.
