Frozen Friday: Haagen-Daz - Snack Size Coffee Almond Crunch Bars

Haagen-Daz recently started offering their premium ice cream bars in portion-controlled snack sizes so you could get your ice cream fix without over indulging in calories if you so chose.

Haagen-Daz Snack Size Coffee Armond Crunch Bars feature coffee ice cream dipped in milk chocolate, toffee, and almonds.

They come six 1.85-ounce bars to a box for a regular price of $5.79 or about $3.00 to $4.00 on sale.

I gotta say these are pretty nice. The blend of creamy, super-premium (read: super-fatty) coffee ice cream paired with rich, melt-in-your-mouth milk chocolate strewn with bits of toffee and almonds is super great. Well, unless you don't like coffee in which case you'll probably want to go for the vanilla flavor.

I especially like the smaller size which gives me just enough to whet my cravings without feeling like I over-ate or giving so much that I get sick of eating it.

I'm sure some people will find these too small but that's what the bigger bars are for and I suppose you can always just eat two. One is plenty good for me though.
