News: Wendys - New Dave's Hot 'N Juicy Cheeseburgers

Wendy's has revamped their website as well as their burgers by replacing their Cheeseburgers with new Dave's Hot 'N Juicy Cheeseburgers, so named after the founder of Wendy's, Dave Thomas.

The revamped burgers feature new "premium" toppings (crinkle-cut pickles, red onions, thick-sliced tomatoes), thicker, juicier hamburger patties, and buns that are buttered before toasting.

Like the previous Wendy's Cheeseburgers, Dave's Hot 'N Juicy Cheeseburgers are available with single (1/4 pound), double (1/2 pound), or triple patties (3/4 pound).

The new burgers seem to have had a trickle down effect as the smaller patties for value and children's burgers are now with 25% more beef and are also purported to be juicier and thicker.

  1. I'm not all on the technology, but I'm curious how you can have more beef/thicker patties but have it weigh the same that it previously did.

I'd understand if they made thicker patties but smaller burgers, but they say that the burgers have more beef which would have to mean more weight wouldn't it?

  4. I believe they're saying it's thicker and juicier but not actually more beef (except for the smaller burgers).
