Merry Christmas!
I kinda wanted turkey but went with a roast. I went simple with garlic, ground black pepper and kosher salt. Medium rare of course! Happy Holidays!

Lol, I thought the same thing. Fat around the edges, blood on top. What is appetizing about that?
ReplyDeleteNo gravy? I don't get you 'no gravy' people. My sister does that. Looks good... a perfect medium rare. My standard roast rub is kosher salt, cracked black pepper, and lemon pepper. Easy and tasty.
ReplyDeleteI wish the price of beef hadn't skyrocketed along with everything else. A cheeseburger from McDonald's is now a dollar. A quarter pounder used to be on the dollar menu here... now they're as much as a single Big Mac. I've been sticking with pork and chicken. A good marinade covers up a multitude of sins. Two parts soy sauce, one part sugar = instant stir fry.
Perhaps the reason I was a tub-of-lard for so long was because I piled a mountain of mashed taters upon my plate.
ReplyDeletelooks disgusting
ReplyDeleteA cheeseburger in Australia costs us $2.49. And our dollar is higher than yours. So you guys still win, in value AND quantity.
