Review: Arby's - Arby-Q Sandwich

Arby's has returned the Arby-Q Sandwich for a limited-time at participating locations. The sandwich is basically an Arby's regular roast beef sandwich but the roast beef is drenched in barbecue sauce.

My local Arby's has it for the promotional price of two sandwiches for $4.

I like the buns at Arby's a fair bit. They're more bready than other chains and work well with roast beef. Plus they look nice!

I've mentioned before that I'm not a fan of the paper thin cut of Arby's beef. I feel it lacks that beefy texture that I want. I like the roast beef flavor though, especially complemented by some Horsey sauce.

With the Arby-Q, I wasn't a fan of the barbecue sauce at all. It lacks a good smoky flavor and was bit vinegary and very salty. I missed out on a lot of the roast beef flavor because I could only taste barbecue sauce.

I think with a better barbecue sauce (and there are so many out better ones there), I would have liked the Arby-Q a lot better.
