News: Zatarain's - New Meals for Two

New Orleans-style food brand, Zatarain's is expanding its recent frozen food line up with new Meals for Two as well as two new single-serve entrees.

Meal for Two are frozen entrees meant to be cooked in the microwave or skillet, are 24 ounces each, and carry a suggested retail price range of $6.99 to $7.49 each. The four new meals are:

Blackened Chicken Alfredo for Two which contains seasoned, grilled white meat chicken and penne pasta in an Alfredo sauce.

Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya for Two features long-grain rice with seasoned, grilled white meat chicken, Andouille sausage, onions, bell peppers, and spices.

Smothered Chicken and Rice for Two comes with seasoned, grilled white meat chicken, long grain rice, broccoli and red bell peppers in brown sauce.

Beef and Mushroom Pasta for Two gives you seasoned beef, mushrooms, and twisted pasta ribbons in a creamy sauce.

In addition to the new Meals for Two, there's also two new, single-serve frozen entrees: Chicken and Mushroom Risotto and Big Cheesy Pasta. Both carry a suggested retail of $3.49.

Chicken and Mushroom Risotto is made with roasted chicken, marinated mushrooms, and wild rice in a creamy garlic butter sauce.

Big Cheesy Pasta is a simple meal of broccoli, carrots, red bell peppers and pasta in a creamy cheddar cheese sauce.
