Your favorite (and most likely only) semi-hand-shaped chicken dish is back at Popeyes! Rip'N Chick'N ("ripping chicken") returns for a limited-time this summer.
In case you like pulling your tenders off from a whole chicken breast rather than getting them already separated, Popeyes' Rip'N Chick'N features a marinated (with a blend of cayenne, habañero, white and black peppers), battered, and deep-fried whole chicken breast that has been partially cut into tenders but left intact at the base so you can tear them off yourself.
Rip'N Chick'N will be available through June 24 with an order of Cajun fries (or a side of your choice), a buttermilk biscuit, and Ranch sauce (also substitute-able) for $3.99.
To help promote the returning Rip'N Chicken'N, Popeyes will be hiding five briefcases, with a $1,000 worth of Popeyes gift checks each, in five U.S. cities: Chicago, Washington D.C., Houston, Los Angeles, and New Orleans in a scavenger hunt with clues given via Twitter and Facebook. You can check out the details and official rules on the Popeyes Facebook here. The contest runs through June 8 (or whenever all 5 briefcases are found obviously).
You can check out my review of Rip'N Chicken'N the last time it came around here.
