The Bacon Sundae blends sweet with savory by adding bacon crumbles and a thick-cut piece of bacon as garnish to a BK caramel and fudge sundae. The suggested retail for one is $2.49.
But besides the Bacon Sundae, like Burger King's recent McDonald's-xeroxed menu expansion, the BBQ Summer Menu also adds quite a few new items to Burger King's menu including regional BBQ sandwiches, a side, and a drink:
The Memphis BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich marries tender pulled pork with Sweet Baby Ray’s Sweet ‘n Spicy BBQ sauce, and then adds sliced onions and Sweet Southern dressing all on a toasted artisan-style bun. The suggested retail price starts is $3.49.
The Carolina BBQ Whopper combines a quarter pound flame-grilled Whopper patty, Pepper Jack cheese, thick-cut, hardwood-smoked bacon, iceberg lettuce, red onions, tomatoes, Sweet Southern dressing, and Bull’s-Eye Carolina Style BBQ sauce on a sesame seed bun for a suggested retail price of $3.99.
Its chicken counterpart, the Carolina BBQ Chicken Sandwich features the same save for the beef and bun which are replaced with your choice of a Tendercrisp or Tendergrill chicken breast and an artisan-style bun. They carry a suggested retail price of $4.79.
The Texas BBQ Whopper comes with a quarter pound beef patty, American cheese, jalapeño slices, red onions, tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, and Bull’s-Eye Texas Style BBQ sauce on a sesame seed bun. Its suggested retail price is $3.99.
The chicken variation, the Texas BBQ Chicken Sandwich offers the same but with a different meat and bun. You have your choice of a Tendercrisp or Tendergrill chicken breast and its served on an artisan-style bun.
New Sweet Potatoes Fries, like the Bacon Sundae, features a combination of salty and sweet that's crispy on the outside (or at least should be) and tender within. An order retails at a suggest price of $1.89.
Finally, the Frozen Classic Lemonade blends "real lemon flavor" with ice and water. There's also Strawberry Lemonade (like McDonald's!) with "real strawberry flavor." Both are available in 12-, 16-, or 20-ounce cups starting at a suggest retail of $1.99

Counting the weather guesser three opinions were spewed while the ever-present smiles conveyed the we-love-everybody and everything personas of the show hosts.
All three proclaimed how wonderful the bacon sundaes were; endlessly babbling how wondrous the things are and that everybody just has to try them then stated for the umpteenth time the creation is available NOW at the BK near you.
Uh huh. As if ANY negative declaration would be given about a firm that has MANY TV ads aired on that station.
