Review: Burger King - Frozen Lemonade

Burger King's limited-time, new Frozen Lemonade is something they're doing for the summer: blending lemonade with ice.

I paid $2.49 for a medium, 16-ounce cup of Frozen Lemonade.

More or less, an ice slush lemonade, Burger King's version is much the same as your would find at other places. That is to say, the consistency is decent. Since it's blended to order, it's not as fine an ice as you'd find in the constantly chilled and mixed Slurpee or Icee (of course, with those, it depends on how the machine's working, but at least you can tell from the little window how well it's blended).

The taste is also similar to other similar offerings. There's a nice punch of tartness and a strong sweetness, but it tastes like concentrate. Some people are okay with concentrate, some aren't. I'm cool with concentrates unless it's lemon or orange which I find has a distinctively unpleasant aftertaste.

So yeah, I don't like Burger King's Frozen Lemonade; it tastes like lemon concentrate. If you're okay with lemon concentrate, it should be okay for you, but otherwise, you probably won't like it.
