For a limited time, Pizza Hut returns their "Any Pizza for $10" deal where customers can get any pizza, or any size, and with any number of toppings for $10.
They say "any pizza," but stuffed crust and extra cheese will cost you extra. Available crusts are Pan, Hand-Tossed, or Thin 'n Crispy.
For similar deals: Dominos offers any large, 3-topping pizza for $7.99, but only on Mondays through Wednesday, and only for carryout; Papa John's offers any large pizza with up to 5-toppings or specialties for $9.99, but only Monday through Wednesday as well; and finally, Little Caesars always has their $5 Hot-N-Ready Cheese or Pepperoni Pizzas for $5.

The elite-class owned mass media proudly proclaims that X number of new jobs were created in a one-month period.
ReplyDeleteNot mentioned is that too many jobs are at menial pay with few to no benefits and not all are full-time and some are temporary.
Thus, the declining discretionary income of the socio-economic class that tends to order pizza from the chains mentioned above will likely result in ever-growing competition for ever-fewer dollars.
I expect pizza prices to hit rock bottom but, sadly, pizza quality will likely decline due to economizing with ingredients.
