To promote the new sandwiches, Arby's will be offering each guest a free Turkey Roaster sandwich of their choice when they visit Arby’s between 11:00am and 1:00pm on September 6th.
The Turkey Classic is like an Arby's Classic Roast Beef, but with slices of hot, oven-roasted turkey instead of Arby's trademark roast beef.
Similarly, the Turkey 'n Cheddar Classic is the turkey version of the Beef 'n Cheddar.
The Grand Turkey Club doesn't have a beef counterpart and features a toasted Harvest Wheat bun filled with sliced roast turkey, Swiss cheese, pepper bacon, leaf lettuce, tomato, and mayo.
With the addition of roast turkey, it looks like roast chicken is now off the Arby's menu; the only chicken available is now battered and fried.

lol I wonder if they just dyed the "beef" slab another color and called it turkey….AMERICA!
ReplyDeleteYes. They bleached it. :)
ReplyDeleteA possible corporate response to anticipated near-future beef price hikes due to the drought withering large sections of the USA?
ReplyDeleteYou forgot to mention that on September 6, you can get a free one with no other purchase between the hours of 11 am and 1 pm.
ReplyDeleteBleach kills germs by collapsing the cellular wall and all the innards come gushing out.
ReplyDeleteThe club version of this is completely delicious and the first fast food sandwich to look like the pictures! Plenty of turkey, nice bacon, cheese, fresh lettuce and tomato and mayo on a wheat bun. GO FOR IT!!!!
ReplyDeletePossible? Pretty much true, plus turkey is cheaper than beef right now.
ReplyDeleteThey should have stuck with the roasted chicken.
