The last time I had cheesesticks at Domino's (a long time ago), I received a small flattened football of baked bread with cheese on top and not much else to it. So I was surprised, this time, to find a substantially thick mini-loaf of bread covered in cheese and lightly sprinkled with herbs.
The jalapenos are pretty spicy and deliver a sour bite. I would have preferred the fresh variety as the sourness was harsh against the more subtle flavors of... well.. everything else.
Curiously, the overall flavor of the ingredients is muted by the dough and as a whole, Domino's Bacon and Jalapeno Stuffed Cheesy Bread was a bit too plain in taste. It could use a bit more seasoning and/or the presence of a stronger cheese (or two). This bread is meant for dipping and it's a shame that costs extra, especially since Domino's Parmesan Bites offer more flavor and a better value.
