The celebration also kicks off for those of you not in the U.S. with a similar discount around the world, but doesn't start until December 6. You can check the Domino's Facebook page for the discount in your particular locale by selecting your country in the pull-down menu.
The deal marks a good time to try out Domino's new Handmade Pan Pizza, which came out to $6.12 with two toppings at my local Domino's (regularly $7.99 under the current promotional pricing).
I ordered one of the Artisan Pizzas, and paid half price. At $4+tax it was a real bargain.
