Review: Frito Lay - Hot Wings Doritos Jacked Chips

Ranch Dipped Hot Wings is the latest flavor for Frito Lay's Doritos Jacked, a bigger, thicker, and more seasoned version of Doritos tortilla chips.

The flavor is described as the "burn of tangy hot wings" followed by a "blast of creamy ranch"

A 10.5-ounce bag retails for $4.29, but I picked these up on sale for $3.

If you're never tried a Doritos Jacked chip, there's a substantial crunch to it similar to a thick restaurant-style tortilla chip.

The color reminds me of deep red of Flaming Hot Doritos and these are probably just as spicy.

There's the spicy tangy sweetness of Buffalo sauce tempered with a hint of creamy Ranch dressing. It's interesting how the chips have a dual-layered flavor with the Buffalo sauce hitting you first, followed by the cooler Ranch taste.

I'm not sure how many people want the flavor of a Ranch-dipped Buffalo Hot Wing coupled with a crunchy tortilla chip, but it that sounds like your bag, Frito Lays has you covered. For me, it's more of a novelty; interesting enough but not a go-to chip.
