News: Sbarro - New Skinny Slice

With the new year in full swing, Sbarro offers the new 270-calorie Skinny Slice (or in most places, a veggie slice).

The Skinny Slice features portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions, red and green bell peppers, pecorini romano cheese, and mozzarella.

If you're itching to try a slice without spending any dough (pun intended), Sbarro is offering a coupon for a free Skinny Slice in exchange for your Facebook "like" on their Facebook page here. The coupon is only good tomorrow, January 15, 2013 though. Not bad if you find yourself at the mall tomorrow.

    Is Sbarro simply re-branding their veggie pizza as the new Skinny Slice, or did they just not have a vegetarian option before?

    They have other vegetarian options (mushrooms, spinach & mushrooms, and spinach, broccoli, and tomato) so this is just a new combination.
