They cost $2.99 for a 8.8-ounce box of six individually-wrapped cookies.
The cookie comes in a bit on the dry side and is a little mealy. It lacks that brown sugar-caramel flavor that you get with a standard chocolate chip or oatmeal cookie and instead has a weird and slightly off-putting aftertaste. There's a decent softness to it though.
The almonds didn't feature very well in the cookie. They come in small bits that are very easy to miss.
The chocolate pieces didn't quite hit the right chocolaty note for me.
Overall, Quaker's Chocolate and Almond Soft Baked Cookies were a miss for me. While I'm okay with eating them, they're pretty sub-par for packaged cookies. I have to say, I was expecting more when I heard the news that the oatmeal company was making oatmeal cookies.
