News: Sonic - New Molten Cake Sundae

Sonic is beefing up (not literally) their sundaes with the new, limited-time Molten Cake Sundae, which is basically a premium option you can add onto any of their sundae combinations.

When you order the new Molten Cake Sundae, you get a chocolate cake filled with hot fudge, topped with ice cream, and toppings like brownie pieces, fresh bananas, caramel sauce, and of course, whipped topping and a maraschino cherry.

The topping combinations you can choose from include Fudge Brownie (hot fudge and brownie pieces), Strawberry Banana Split (bananas and strawberries in strawberry sauce), and Turtle (caramel sauce and salted pecans).

    I tried the Turtle one the other day. It was pretty good, but it definitely seems a bit overpriced at $4. The cake itself was a bit small, and barely had any of the hot fudge inside (which was pretty hard to find, since they were definitely more generous with the ice cream and whipped cream).

    For the same price I'd rather go to Domino's and get an order of their Lava Cakes. No ice cream and stuff, but they're way bigger and you get two of them.

    For $4 I would just get 2 lava cake's at Dominos too, the one at Sonic is maybe alittle bigger but it taste so spongy like a cake and you can't even find the hot fudge. I wouldn't say it taste bad but if you want it for the lava cake itself just your better off with going to Dominos.
