News: Ruffles Brings Back Beer-Battered Onion Ring Flavored Chips

Frito Lay brings back Ruffles Beer-Battered Onion Ring-flavored potato chips for a limited time, but under their Ruffles Max (stylized as "MAX") label (for "flavors inspired by real-foods guys love with the maximum taste guys want").

The flavor was first introduced in late 2011, but in limited distribution. This time around, Ruffles Max Beer Battered Onion Rings are available nationwide.

The chips comes in two sizes: a 2.5-ounce bag and an 8-ounce bag. The 2.5-ounce bag carries a suggested retail price of $1.49 and the 8-ounce bag goes for a suggested retail price of $4.29.

    My guess is they brought it back due to the amount of likes it received in the Gallery for the Do Us A Flavor Contest. It finished in the top three in likes along with Jalapeno Cheddar and I think Grilled cheese.
