The salads start at $6.79 in price.
Here's a little bit of a neat tip: in Chick-fil-A restaurants, you can request a receipt with order-specific nutritional information at the cash register.

All those salads actually sound very good, and the calorie-count for each is reasonable. I would want to try them if not for the $6.79 price tag... too pricey for me.
ReplyDeleteDon't get the avacado Lime dressing...30+grams of fat. I ended up eating my salad plain.
ReplyDeleteToo pricey and too many unwanted ingredients. I buy a salad for the effect of eating a "garden salad".
ReplyDeleteI actually liked the older salads better. Have tried all the new ones and won't be buying them that often. The thing is, I used to like going to chik fil a since they offered something for the whole family. Now I end up not going since I don't like anything. I'd rather not make multiple stops
ReplyDeleteJust had the Cobb and my co-worker had the Asian. Not bad. Pretty sure they are smaller than the old salads. We liked both, but I liked the old Southwest salad much much better. And about one fourth of the crispy red pepper things I received were hard as rocks. Almost chipped a tooth. I'll probably get one again but not almost every day like I did before.
ReplyDeleteDon't like the new salads at all but I really loved the old Southwest and Garden salads. The Cobb salad was full of undercooked bacon that I ended up picking out and it really had no taste whatsoever. The crispy tomato pepper things were gross and the lime avacado dressing was way too salty (22% of daily rec) and too much fat and excess calories for me.
ReplyDeleteThey are also $7.19 plus tax where I live so guess I too will have to find another place for lunch salads during the work week. So sad to see the Southwest salad fade into history - it was sooo good!
Loved the old Grilled Salad and the Charbriol w/Fruit, the new salads are disgusting as far as im conc
ReplyDeleteRip off! Today got ripped off and spent nearly $8 for the Cobb Salad. Totally ticked off. I actually liked the old strips salad, and the new is smaller and less chicken, less everything. What are they trying to do? At least give customers what they pay for it and its not this sorry salad!
ReplyDeleteI agree with all. The new selection is nice but not for the $7 lunch price tag. Give me the Southwest with Spicy dressing $5 and some change. Wendy's does have the half salad for $4+. They are about the same size too.

ReplyDeleteYeah the price is wrong, at least over here in southeastern PA. The salads here are closer to $7.50, making them even less appetizing. Miss the old salads and tired of looking elsewhere for decent food. Damn you Chick-Fil-A.
ReplyDeleteI miss the strip salad. It was the only good fast food salad out there. It wasn't the strips that made it good. It was the salad itself. The tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage, cheese... The new salads are unappetizing in my opinion. If I want a decent salad with fruit or a generic cobb salad I can go anywhere. But no other fast food restaurant has broccoli on their salad. It was a novelty I truly appreciated. Plus it's terrible marketing to completely remove items before you even know if your consumers will like your new additions. Obviously a good many of us don't. But over the past year of Chick-fil-a nonsense in the news and politics I'm not surprised it's "your way or the highway". Regardless, listen to your customer.

ReplyDeleteMaybe we can get enough people to sign and get the ones we like back.
The market salad is to die for. I could eat one every day. I'm not usually one for fruit in my salad, but with the flavor combination of chicken, fruit and blue cheese crumbles, it hardly needs the apple vinaigrette dressing. Definitely worth the price and is big enough to share.
