News: Popeyes Brings Back Rip'n Chicken

Rip'n Chicken (stylized "Rip'n Chick'n") returns to Popeyes this month. The odd-looking (some would say "disturbing-looking") chicken features a chicken breast filet partially-cut into pull-apart strips so that you can rip the strips off yourself.

It's marinated in a blend of cayenne, habaneros, and white and black peppers, before battered and deep-fried. To help mellow out the heat, a side of Buttermilk Ranch Dipping sauce comes on the side.

To promote the limited-time item, Popeyes is offering a combo featuring one Rip'n Chicken, Cajun fires, a buttermilk biscuit, and Ranch dipping sauce for $3.99.

Rip'n Chicken is available at participating Popeye's locations through April 28, 2013.
