News: Krispy Kreme - New Key Lime Donuts

Krispy Kreme is going with key lime to welcome summer this year with two new donuts: the Key Lime Cake and Key Lime Cheesecake. Key Lime tends to have a more tart and bitter flavor than your typical lime.

Key Lime Cake is a key lime cake donut topped with key lime cream cheese icing and finished with a dollop of Kreme over the donut's hole..

Key Lime Cheesecake features a filled donut with key lime cheesecake, topped with key lime cream cheese icing and graham cracker crumbles.

The limited-time donuts are available through June 23 at participating US and Canadian Krispy Kreme locations.

This isn't the first time Krispy Kreme has gone with a citrus theme for the summer. Last year, they offered both lemon- and lime-flavored donuts.
