News: Popeyes - New Blackberry and Cream Cheese Pie

Following up on the Strawberry and Cream Cheese Pie offered earlier this year, Popeyes is now offering a new, limited-time Blackberry and Cream Cheese Pie (stylized as "Blackberry 'N Cream Cheese Pie").

Like the Strawberry and Cream Cheese Pie before it, these have a deep-fried, bubbly turnover-style crust plus a separated filling of cream cheese and blackberry puree. Basically the crust is how McDonald's pie crust used to be. If you miss those, these might be worth a look (taste?).

The pies are served warm (or hot) and prices start at 99 cent a piece (my local Popeyes' has them for $1.29 each).
