The Brownie Sandwich features two triangle-shaped brownies topped with mini chocolate chips sandwiching a layer of creamy fudge frosting filling.
The new dessert occupies the same price point as the Cookie Sandwich with a suggested retail price of $1.29.
It seems the Cookie Sandwich, while made with chocolate chip cookies, wasn't chocolaty enough. A Taco Bell representative stated, "The Brownie Sandwich will replace the Cookie Sandwich, giving fans the chocolate dessert they’ve been asking for. In test, those fans told us that they love the Brownie Sandwich for its taste and for fulfilling their chocolate cravings."
The Brownie Sandwich is roughly the same size as the Cookie Sandwich was. Taco Bell's dessert menu now consists of the Brownie Sandwich, Churro, and Caramel Apple Empanada (Cinnamon Twists are still around but aren't featured as part of the menu).
