Review: Taco Bell - Brownie Sandwich

Taco Bell's new Brownie Sandwich replaces the Cookie Sandwich and comes with two triangular-shaped brownies with a fudge creme filling between them.

I picked one up for $1.29.

The whole idea here is to provide customers with a chocolaty option on the dessert menu. Unlike the Cookie Sandwich, these don't seem to come to you warm and are at room temperature. I'm not sure if they'll warm it up for you.

The brownies were on the fluffy side for brownies and veered towards cake territory. They had a nice moistness to them and a decent chocolate flavor. I only caught one or two of the mini chocolate chips shown on the promo photos.

The filling is fairly sweet and reminds me of a whipped chocolate cake frosting. It's soft enough that you could easily use it as a dip.

Overall, the Brownie Sandwich provides a nice bit of chocolaty goodness on Taco Bell's dessert menu. Between it and the Cookie Sandwich, I could go either way depending on what I feel like eating.
