A 14-ounce small cost me $3.15.
The shake had a nice thickness; it was enough to feel substantial but not so much that there was any difficulty pulling it up the straw.
The tiny Oreo bits were small enough to fit up a regular straw and were notably crunchy without any sogginess at all. The overall amount of crumbles was a little wanting though and I should have liked a bit more (granted it might vary due to the human element).
If you've ever had a light mocha cream frosting, that's pretty much what the combination of soft serve, chocolate syrup, and coffee here tastes like. It's not overly heavy but finds a good balance between coffee and chocolate. The off-putting aftertaste I typically find with Chick-fil-A's shakes wasn't apparent with this one.
Overall, Chick-fil-A's new Mocha Cookies & Cream Milkshake is a nice riff on their regular Cookies & Cream Shake that finds a nice middle ground between its various flavors but needs just a tad more on the "cookies" front.

ReplyDeleteThe boycott still goes on.
ReplyDeleteI tried this the other day and it was delicious, but it gave me an upset stomach. It was still very delicious, however.
ReplyDeleteGuess what you believe in is all that matters. Farbeit for anyone to have a belief that you don't approve of. Chick-fil-A is not hurting for your business.
ReplyDeleteStick to food - it tastes better than politics.
hmmm. their sales are stronger than ever. looks like your boycott isn't working.
