A 14-ounce small cost me $3.15.
The shake had a nice thickness; it was enough to feel substantial but not so much that there was any difficulty pulling it up the straw.
The tiny Oreo bits were small enough to fit up a regular straw and were notably crunchy without any sogginess at all. The overall amount of crumbles was a little wanting though and I should have liked a bit more (granted it might vary due to the human element).
If you've ever had a light mocha cream frosting, that's pretty much what the combination of soft serve, chocolate syrup, and coffee here tastes like. It's not overly heavy but finds a good balance between coffee and chocolate. The off-putting aftertaste I typically find with Chick-fil-A's shakes wasn't apparent with this one.
Overall, Chick-fil-A's new Mocha Cookies & Cream Milkshake is a nice riff on their regular Cookies & Cream Shake that finds a nice middle ground between its various flavors but needs just a tad more on the "cookies" front.
