But, that hasn't stopped people from putting out lists that, if ordered by name, would probably garner a blank stare from your Starbucks barista and a prompt to describe how to make the drink
Think about it. There are already enough drinks on the Starbucks menu. Why train specific off-menu drinks over just plain customization?
However, there are some tried-and-true custom orders that have been recommended here and there, including the following garnered from the official Starbucks Frappuccino Facebook page (just be sure to order as described rather than by name):
Orange Creme Frappuccino - "Grande Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino blended with 5 navel orange slices and topped with whipped cream."
Banana Flambe Frappuccino - "Grande Caramel Frappuccino blended with a banana. Top with 3 pumps dark caramel syrup and whipped cream."
Snickerdoodle Frappuccino - "Grande Chai Crème Frappuccino with soy milk. 3 pumps of Cinnamon Dolce syrup. Top with whipped cream and Cinnamon Dolce sprinkles."
Cotton Candy Frappuccino - "Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. 1 pump Raspberry syrup for a tall, 2 pumps for a grande or 3 pumps for a venti."
Chocolate Hazelnut Frappuccino - "Coffee Frappuccino with 2 pumps mocha, 1 pump hazelnut, whip cream blended in."
Peppermint Chocolate Chip Green Tea Frappuccino - "Green tea Frappuccino + java chips + peppermint syrup."
I'll update if they end up posting more.

I'm tempted to try some of these but with those modifications, this ends up making an already not cheap drink into a very expensive drink... If only they still give free milk and syrup for registered card members...
ReplyDeleteTwo of my favorites so far is the Banana Nut, which is a Grande (or venti) Hazelnut Frappuccino blended with a banana, and also the Crunchberry/Captain Crunch, which is a Frappuccino blended with one pump of hazelnut and one pump of toffee nut syrup (although I've also added a banana and switched the regular whip for chocolate whip once to mix it up and it turned out pretty good). I love Starbucks too much haha :)
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah, that was a nice perk.

ReplyDeleteIt depends on where you live, since each store can price as they choose. I would say figure on $4 minimum for a tall.
