Review: Carl's Jr. - Snickerdoodle Ice Cream Sandwich

Carl's Jr.'s Snickerdoodle Ice Cream Sandwich is a test item and features two snickerdoodle cookies sandwiching a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

I bought one for $1.49.

The cookies were soft-baked with a crispy crust. They hardened a bit from the cold ice cream though.

If you've never had a snickerdoodle, they're sugar cookies with a dusting of cinnamon sugar, which happens to pair quite nicely with vanilla ice cream. The pairing of vanilla and cinnamon work well.

The ice cream hits a sweet spot in temperature and wasn't so cold that it was hard but wasn't too warm that it melted much. The vanilla ice cream itself is serviceable but generic.

Overall, Carl's Jr.'s Snickerdoodle Ice Cream Sandwich was pretty nice. If it ever makes it out of test, it should please those who don't care for Pop-Tarts or chocolate chip cookies.
