The new crust will feature pockets of white cheddar, mozzarella, and provolone along the crust compared to the ring of string cheese of the original Stuffed Crust.
It looks like the pockets come two to a slice and the general thickness of the crust makes it about double the size of a regular Stuffed Crust.
According to USA Today, 3-Cheese Stuffed Crust will be a permanent crust option.
The new crust will be offered for $12 per 1-topping, large pizza (a $2 premium a regular large and the same price as a standard Stuffed Crust Pizza).
For those who can't wait, Pizza Hut has taken to social media in urging fans to tweet "#3CheeseStuffed" to get their city listed as a voting candidate to get the 3-Cheese Stuffed Crust a week early on October 14. Voting starts on Monday, October 7 at http://3cheesestuffed.com/.

A Pretzel based pizza crust would be new, this is hardly new at all.
ReplyDeleteour local little caesars has a pretzel crust pizza for $6, it was good but a bit salty with the cheese sauce instead of pizza sauce.

it was a complete pretzel dough crust. cheese sauce was a mildish cheddar. it came standard with pepperoni and a slight dusting a parmesan. same 14 inch size as the hot n ready. it was good, but very different, and very salty. The crust did have pretzel salt on the edge, which added to the saltiness. I think it was $6 got the pizza. in addition to the pretzel crust pizza, they were also selling pretzel bites at the time, although I didn't they those.
