I found a 9.8-ounce box of 8 waffles on sale for $2.
These crisp up just the same as regular Eggo waffles in the toaster oven. With the general thinness, they get hot and crispy pretty fast. They don't have as much of the soft crumb of a thicker waffle though so it's mostly "crunch crunch crunch."
Flavor-wise, there's an enjoyable pumpkin spice flavor that wasn't too heavy and, surprisingly, wasn't all that sweet or overly spiced. Eggo's Pumpkin Spice Waffles are ideal for eating with syrup or whipped cream if you're going for more of a pumpkin pie feel (I'm fine with eating them plain though).
Overall, Eggo Pumpkin Spice are an excellent way for Eggo waffle fans to get into the fall/pumpkin spirit. The taste might be too light for those looking for extra pumpkin flavor though.

they had these out last year too and Parade magazine had an amazing bread pudding recipe using these. I "wasted" a whole box making it and it was worth it. Happy to see they're back this year although I havent seen them.
