A 19.75-ounce canister was $6.99.
Right out of the can, these have the typical smell of pumpkin pie with just a touch of roast almond.
The seasoning is a light powdered blend (that includes pumpkin powder) rather than a candied shell and doesn't ever threaten to overwhelm the flavor of almonds. There's no risk of flavor overload either.
The result is touch of sweet pumpkin pie flavor paired with roasted almonds. Besides the cinnamon, ginger, and cloves, I could actually taste pumpkin.
Overall, Planter's Pumpkin Spice Almonds are pretty good and ideal for pumpkin-nut lovers without ever veering into dessert-candy territory.
