Burger King offers an extra cheesy version of the chain's signature Whopper
in Brazil called the "X-Whopper." It features a beef patty with bits of cheese mixed in a la the
Bacon Cheddar Stuffed Burger. To go along with the beef and cheese patty are two slices of cheese, four slices of bacon, and a creamy cheese sauce (for the cheese and meat set).
Insofar as the "X" goes,
apparently, the letter "X" is pronounced "sheesh" in Portuguese. Basically the "X" is meant to approximate how Brazilians (whose native language is Portuguese) would pronounce the English word "cheese." Therefore, the X-Whopper is more or less the "Cheese Whopper" (which would explain the copious amounts of cheese in it).
