Denny's here in the US, Burger King Malaysia is running a cross-promotion with the latest
The Hobbit movie,
The Desolation of Smaug. Instead of the Fire Burger that Denny's is offering, Burger King is going with the Angry Dragon Beef and Angry Dragon Chicken. The Angry Dragon in question being Smaug.
What makes them Angry? Angry Onions apparently... and honey mustard. Angry Onions are the same as you'd find on an
Angry Whopper here in the States and are slivered onions dipped in a spicy batter and deep fried. The rest of the burger features either a beef or crispy chicken patty, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, and pickles on sesame seed bun.
The burgers can be ordered individually or in a combo with medium fries and a Sjora Mango Inferno, which apparently is a blend of Sjora Mango juice and Sprite. Sjora is a drink by Nestle featuring a blend of juice and milk.
Burger King Malaysia will be offering the movie-themed burgers through January 12, 2014.
